My name is Nicole and I am the person behind Nicky Bijoux SpA ®, a registered brand in Chile of hand-dyed yarns and in an artisanal/sustainable way.

My workshop and showroom are located in Valle Grande, Lampa commune - Santiago de Chile. However, it all began in a small electric kitchen in a small apartment in the heart of Santiago Centro, where the studio was born and I resumed my interest in dyeing vegetable and animal fibers and where my small business began to take shape, complementing the love for what was done by hand. hand. There I began to create my own processes to dye wool.

I take care to choose my suppliers of raw materials very carefully and that they are as responsible as I am for working with animal fibers free of mistreatment (mulesing free). I also generate water care with an artisan system (for the moment) of saving and reusing water. Sometimes it becomes difficult, however I feel part of a chain of responsibility for the care of my environment, which allows me to make beautiful dyes responsibly and in which I like to capture each yarn, as well as personalized attention to each one. from you. It is for this reason that I love the entire process, from the choice of raw materials, through the preparation, dyeing, packing, post-sale and now the workshops where I teach you how to dye yarn using my techniques and tips to avoid so unpleasant "bleeding".
